Why is it an advantage that you don’t outsource my project? 

Running a high end agency is not about landing and selling the most work you can. It is about knowing your team and guide them to provide value to your client. The best designer in the world working alone, will only be able to provide a beautiful design, most probably out of context, if she is not part of a creative team. And building a website is not only about beauty. It is about providing creating a sustainable competitive advantage. Our design team, from the creative director to the junior designer work as a unit to provide that advantage to our clients.

 

I have an agency. Can I resell your work?

Well, no, at least not to our knowledge. We consider the relationship we build with our clients part of our value proposition and that would never work through a middleman. Our mission is not to get the most work possible, it is to provide the best value for the people that really need it. Wholesale is not in our model but you can find it in so many other solutions out there!

 

Who owns the designs you will provide me?

The ownership of the selected designs is yours. As designers we retain the ethical ownership of the artwork, which means that we can use it as a work sample in our portfolio, site and other promotional activities. The ownership and copyright of any proposals you didn't choose remains to us.

 

Do you think design should be cheap?

We believe design should be affordable, not cheap. Design exists to improve our lives by being both functional and beautiful. Cheap design in most cases fails in both those tasks and it makes its existence obsolete. Expensive design may do the job efficiently but it is not accessible by many people. Affordable design on the other hand, if it has been conceived under a clever business model - see IKEA - can conquer the world!

 

How can I be sure that I will get high quality design for my project?

Just take a look at our work samples. Nothing speaks better about a designer than their collected artwork. If you like what you see and you can imagine your brand in that portfolio looking great, then we are most probably your kind of designers. Words are just words and we could talk for hours about what is good design and what is not. A picture is worth a thousand words though and you can see in our portfolio a lot more than one picture.

 

We already have an existing website. Can we work on that?

Your brand is your baby, you know that and we know that. You want what is best for it and so do we. We will assess any existing material and advise if it is appropriate for what we want to achieve with your website. Just have in mind, our goal is not to make more work for us, it is to provide more value for you and your brand. If it is your decision to move forward it may be best to leave some things in the past. Still, if something works, there is no need to fix it.

 

What payment options do you support?

We currently support payments through Paypal to make things simple and secure. If you need to pay through a bank transfer please let us know.

 

Who will work on my project?

For every project we undertake we assign a designer to work on it and a senior art director to supervise it. In the final stage all projects are approved by the creative director. That way we can guarantee optimum results through the whole process and you will receive a well researched and planned design and not just a pretty picture. In addition, these people will be responsible for your account so you won’t have to deal with somebody you don’t know every time you need something for your project.

 

I can get a website solution for 5-100$ out there. Why pay more?

It is your brand, the fire of your loins, the future of your professional life, do you really want to invest 5-100$ on it? We believe that one of the most important tasks for a startup or small business is to set solid foundations for their brand so they can grow on them. Most people don’t know or even care much about design and aesthetics but they know cheap when they see it. Our proposal is don’t do cheap, do affordable

.

What if I don’t like any of your proposals?

When designing for your project our goal is to take the information you give us through the briefing process and provide solutions that will satisfy a field of expectations from your part. The idea of this method is to find what the client needs and wants somewhere in that field. It is the method used by most high end creative agencies, it has been tested  through the years and it works almost every time. In the unlikely case that you fall out of this field and you don’t like anything we propose, we will take your feedback and go for another round with no additional cost. In the even more unlikely case that you still don’t like anything, we will keep going at it until we have a solution that will satisfy your expectations. Additional costs may apply.

 

How many revisions can I have for my project?

We offer one round of revisions in the original price you pay when you assign us with the project. You can order additional rounds along the way or ever unlimited rounds at an extra cost. We use that tactic because we know that in most cases additional rounds will not be necessary - we are good in what we do - and so we can keep the costs low and accessible to the average small business

How long do I have to decide on the proposals?

In the beginning of our collaboration we will provide you with a timetable showing the times we will need for the initial proposals and the possible revisions, as well as the time you should take to review them. We have created this timetable using the experience we have gained through the years, to achieve the optimum flow for your project. Still, if for your own reasons fall behind in that timetable we will pick it up where you left it, just have in mind that our time will have to extend in relation with the time you delayed.
